"As adults we worry too much about getting it right … I embrace this new era of creativity and believe we have much to learn from our new 'have a go' generation.  More of us should stop worrying about creating something perfect and just enjoy the process of creating' which is, in itself, quite beautiful."  Artist Judith Ede Judith runs Painting and Decorative Classes in schools and with community groups - teaching budding artists of all ages and abilities how to turn old toy boxes, cupboards and even junk items into stunning pieces of furniture. "Judith has incredible artistic talents which have captivated the children …she is also very engaging and patient which has proven to be the perfect combination…   Judith inspires the children creatively whilst teaching them new skills and painting techniques - resulting in them making some truly beautiful items!"  Mrs Jewitt, Deputy Head Teacher, Holmes Chapel Primary School
About the artist
Cheshire Artist Judith Ede has been drawing, painting and 'up- cycling' old and treasured items of furniture all her life.  Up-cycling is the process of not simply giving something a new lease of life … but making it better than it ever was in the first place! After spending 15 years living in the Middle East Judith, a former teacher at the British Council, has recently returned to her Cheshire roots where dans la maison is now based.  As well as inviting private commissions, Judith runs Decorative Art Workshops for both adults and children.
